The CairMax® Foam Air Support Surface Mattress is a non-powered, self-adjusting immersion pressure surface that evenly distributes pressure across the body.

It features a multi-zone system of air cells designed to achieve a lower average interface pressure, particularly on injury-prone bony prominences. The mattress reactively adjusts the network of interconnected air cells to the appropriate, therapeutic levels for each patient, and does so in response to changes in patient posture or movement.  The CairMax® Foam Air Support Surface Mattress is equipped with 10 laterally arranged air cells with high-resilience foam inserts that provide the ultimate support.

• Effective Pressure Injury Prevention: Non-powered foam-air surface. Offers self-adjusting immersion, ensuring that pressure is evenly distributed across the body.

• Heel Pressure Redistribution: Features a heel slope design that effectively redistributes pressure from the heels to the calves, reducing the risk of pressure injuries in this vulnerable area.

• Multi-Zone Air Cell System: Incorporates a multi-zone system of air cells to lower average interface pressure. Further enhances pressure redistribution, promoting user comfort and safety.

• Static Support Surface: While offering dynamic pressure redistribution, the mattress also serves as a static support surface, maximising user comfort.

• High-Resilience Foam Inserts: Includes ten laterally arranged air cells with high-resilience foam inserts for durability and support.

• Memory Foam Topper: A 5cm memory foam topper provides additional comfort and support for users.

• Low Glide Sheet: Positioned between the topper layer and air cells, a low glide sheet reduces shear forces and maximises pressure redistribution, contributing to user safety and comfort.

• No Set-Up or Maintenance: Requires no complex set-up, programming, or ongoing maintenance. Designed for simplicity and ease of use.

• Hygienic Design: Components of the mattress are designed for easy cleaning and maintenance. Top cover is machine washable, ensuring infection control and hygiene.

• High-Temperature Cleaning: Top cover can be cleaned at a maximum temperature of 95°C, meeting high standards of infection control.
